Nose Strap Suitable for training large dog breeds.
A nose strap/figure 8 is a fantastic training tool.
This is ideal for dogs that pull on their lead when they get excited.
This is NOT a slip collar. It does not contact your dogs neck. The nose straps sits below/behind your dogs ears and around their snout. Ideally you will set it at the perfect point where you dog can still pant, lick and drink but not to loose to fall off. The idea is that you can provide pressure when needed.
The d clip is located on the right side of your dogs nose. It is designed for gentle training with your dog. When walking a dog that pulls on your leash you can use a nose strap to help redirect your dog .By gently pulling on your lead attached to the figure 8 you will pull you dogs head up and redirect his/her eyeline. You then stop and wait until your dog releases pressure before then treating them. This will train your dog to stop pulling with positive re-enforcement over time.
