Feeding Instructions:

Suitable when you are planning to breed your bird. Start to transition to Peckish Breeder Hookbill Pellets around 6 weeks before breeding, and continue until chicks fledge. If you are transitioning your bird from a blend to pellets, start their transition by feeding them a 50:50 ratio of their former blend and pellets. This may require initially crumbling the pellets. Once they become accustomed to the size and texture, reduce the amount of the blend over several weeks until they are consuming a complete pellet diet.

Can be supplemented with suitable fresh fruits and vegetables.
